About Cat Smith MP:

Cat Smith is the Labour MP for Lancaster and Fleetwood, and has been an MP continuously since 7 May 2015. She currently undertakes the role of Shadow Minister (Cabinet Office) (Young People and Voter Engagement). She is passionate about engaging young people in politics and ensuring the next generation’s voice is heard. Before being elected as an MP she worked for a national social work organisation and was a trustee for a local charity supporting victims of domestic violence.
