YouthPolitics UK invites you to join our Campaigning Workshop on the 18th August 2020 at 19:00. We will be giving you the most important fundamental skills required to lead and engage in effective campaigns. Campaigns are at the forefront of political discourse; they communicate awareness on issues and educate the public on pertinent problems in society. Our in-house campaign experts will show you the importance of campaigning, launching campaigns, how to deliver effective messaging to the public, and how to get involved. Debating

Knowing how to debate is key when it comes to political discourse. Being able to discuss issues in a way that is meaningful and beneficial to both sides is an important skill. In our Debating workshop on 25th August 2020 at 19:00, we will teach you how to leave your echo-chamber behind and give you the skills necessary to look at society’s most important issues from both sides. Our in-house debating expert will give you the highest quality debate training, showing you the techniques that will allow you to dissect issues to get all the key points across. You will learn key analytical skills so that you can look at problems from all angles whilst also being able to deliver winning arguments with the most important public speaking techniques and skills. News Literacy

In our age of rapid advancement in technology, social media and new technological tools are being abused to deliver misleading and fake information to the public. In order to develop the skills necessary to cut out the misinformation and get to the heart of issues affecting all of us we’ll teach you how to spot, deal with, and analyse fake news to get the most out of social media and online information. In our News Literacy workshop on 1st September 2020 at 19:00, you’ll be given a lesson from an external expert in the fact-checking world on dealing with fake news.
