National Committee Member

The National Committee is the third tier of decision-making bodies within YouthPolitics UK, meeting annually in Manchester to discuss the future of YouthPolitics as a whole. The National Committee contains all Executive and Regional members, but there are also exclusive National Committee positions open for application.

Available National Committee positions include:

– Disabilities Officer

– LGBT+ Officer

– BAME Officer

– Political Party Officer (Conservative, Labour, Lib Dem, SNP etc.)

National Committee Officers play a representative role within the Committee, and have a powerful voice during the annual National meetings to provide a unique perspective on YouthPolitics activity and how we can improve for the future. They also play a role with their nearest Regional Committee, attending events as a representative and occasionally providing consultancy for the Regional team.

No qualifications required! As long as applicants fit the eligibility criteria for their chosen role and believe in the YouthPolitics purpose, they are strong candidates for a national committee position.
