Executive Committee Member

The Executive Committee is the highest decision-making body within YouthPolitics. The following Executive positions are currently available: Community Outreach Officer, Head of Campaigns, Head of Events and Head of Legal Affairs. Further information about the Executive Committee and individual roles can be found in the application document attached.

Applicants must be based in or near Manchester.


Executive Committee members have their own specified role within YPUK and manage their own departments under the direction of the Editor and Deputy Editor. As a whole, the Executive Committee decides the direction of the organisation and discusses key decisions from all departments and regions of YPUK.


Applicants should be hard-working and imaginative team-players. Above all they should be passionately committed to YouthPolitics’ purpose of engaging young people with politics and empowering the youth voice.

There are no specific qualifications required for Executive Committee roles, but applicants should be able to evidence exceptional skills and relevant experience that make them fantastic candidates for their chosen position.
